This program has been reviewed by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and is
awaiting final certification by the College’s British Columbia Chapter.
This is your personal invitation to join us at this landmark one-day educational conference of GP/FPs,
Nurse Practitioners, and Dermatologists, designed to provide better patient care for our diverse
communities.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Understand skin disorders in ethnic populations, including the manifestation of common
dermatologic problems
Improve the diagnosis of these disorders in ethnic populations
Use strategies and tools to better manage their patients, and understand the unique challenges
they may face with respect to treatment.

ICON Chinese Forum December 3rd, 2016
iCON is preparing to host a free Chinese health forum entitled Healthy @ Home: Healthy and Happy Living at Home and would like to invite CCMSBC to join our team of community sponsors. (download and print the poster here)
This event will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 11:00am-4:00pm at the Peretz Centre in Vancouver, BC to help seniors and caregivers optimize their quality of life by empowering them with tools to maintain physical and mental wellness, as well as remain independent. A panel of health experts from the community will expand on the theme of healthy aging to delve deeper into early detection of chronic diseases, healthy lifestyle management, falls and injury prevention, and community support services.
