Welcome to the Chinese Canadian Medical Society (BC). We have different membership categories:

1.Active members: A physician, who is licensed to practice medicine in the Province of British Columbia and supports the purposes of the Society, may apply to the Board for active membership in the Society. On acceptance by the Board, the applicant shall be an active member.

• 2 year term (please renew every 2 years)

2.Associate members: Any physician who does not meet the criteria of active membership may apply to the Board for associate membership. Associate members may include retired physicians, foreign physicians and physicians-in-training. Associate members shall enjoy all the privileges and rights of membership other than ability to vote or hold office.

• 2 year term (please renew every 2 years)

3.Life members: Any active member of good standing may apply to be a life member and pay such dues as determined by the Board of directors. A life member shall have the same rights and obligations as an active member.

4.Honorary members: The Society may confer an honorary membership on any person who has rendered outstanding service to the Society. Such member shall enjoy all the privileges and rights of a member of the Society other than the ability to vote or hold office.

Our Society is only as strong as its membership. We need your help in recruiting more members. Please be our ambassador and introduce your associates or colleagues to CCMS (BC). We need your continued input and support in order to serve you better.
